Our Story

Every dream is sparked by ambition. Michele Rice's journey towards becoming an owner and operator of one of the world's most loved fast food giants started decades ago. It started with an immense idea that has manifested into a reality. At a very young age, Michele had big aspirations of becoming a business owner. " I was not set on what type of business that would be until I was around 25 years old," said Rice. Just like many aspiring business owners, Michele received clarity on her purpose of becoming a McDonald's franchise owner. After working alongside family while growing up, she knew it was the best decision. "I loved the fast pace, people, and challenges," said Michele.

This joy led to Michele becoming a 2nd generation McDonald's franchise owner in the Greater Pittsburgh area. When my father became a McDonald’s franchisee and throughout his 48 year career, he said his main goal in life was to provide opportunity and leave a legacy for our family. I have the honor and distinct pleasure of continuing his legacy," said Michele. Rice touts McDonald's as one of the best franchises in the world. It's now giving her the opportunity to cultivate change throughout Pittsburgh with jobs, growth opportunities, and mentorship.
